Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms could have done with a bit more modernization, and being directly above the bar with loud music was a downside, although the music stopped early. The smell of Indian food was noticeable. On the bright side, the location above the bar was convenient.

The hotel's location right off the A956 above a busy bar and Indian restaurant that closed before 10 pm had its advantages for convenience, especially for Aberdeen University and a nice walk along the river. However, it felt a little dated and small despite having all the necessary amenities.
